Miele Washers Error Codes

The drain is blocked or restricted, or the drain hose has been fixed too high.

Clean the filter and the pump. Ensure the maximum drain height is 39 3/8" (1 m).

The water intake is blocked or restricted.

Check whether the water supply is turned on properly. Check whether the intake hose is kinked.

The water protection system has reacted.

Close the water supply. Contact Service.

There is a fault.

Disconnect the washing machine from the power supply (unplug or switch off breaker).

The SoftSteam extra option could not be carried out properly.

Check whether the washing machine is aligned correctly (see “Installation – Leveling the machine").

The door lock has jammed.

Contact Service.

Fault.

Disconnect from power, wait, reconnect. Select program and start. If fault persists, contact Miele Service.

Service Door lock fault

Close the door again. Start the program again. If the fault message appears again, contact Miele Customer Service.

Drainage See

Clean the drain filter and the drain pump. Lower the drain hose if it's too high.

Waterproof system Turn off

Close the faucet. Contact Customer Service.

Service Fault

Disconnect the washing machine from the power supply (unplug or switch off breaker).

Excessive foam has built up during washing.

With TwinDos, check the dosage amount set and reduce it in 10% increments.

Bacteria and odor buildup.

Turn program selector to Additional programs/. Touch sensor buttons until Maintenance appears, then OK.

Check if the washing machine is aligned correctly (see “Installation – Leveling the machine”).

The pumps are dirty or the jet in the top of the door ring is blocked with lint.

The detergent in the cartridge is running low.

Order a new cartridge.

The detergent cartridge is empty.

Replace the cartridge. Check if the laundry is clean. If not, wash the laundry again.
